A schools-businesses partnership in Senegal

On 31 October 2018, Yéry Seck, Deputy Managing Director of Société Générale de Banques au Sénégal and Zacharia Tiemtoré, CEO of the Institut Africain de Management (IAM, African Management Institute) signed a convention aiming at reinforcing the schools-businesses partnership already existing between both organizations.

This important partnership is part of the attraction and recruitment policy of Société Générale de Banques au Sénégal and shows its willingness to use locally-trained human resources to support its development and find its future leaders.

Société Générale de Banques au Sénégal commits on the one hand to receive IAM's students who passed the selection tests in entities matching their skills and on the other hand to employ IAM to train its staff members. Finally, they will put at the institute's disposal the collaborators' savoir-faire and expertise to train students.

During the signature celebration, both directors pledged to work for its successful implementation.

Through this partnership, Société Générale de Banques au Sénégal reinforces its role as a leader in supporting the employability of young Africans.
